Netscape 7 New Email Setup

1. Open Netscape Mail & Newsgroups.
2. Select Email account.
3. Click the Next button.
4. In the Your Name field, type in your name.
5. In the Email Address field, type your full email address (e.g., johndoe@betterbuilt.com).
6. Click the Next button.
7. Select POP.
8. In the Incoming Server field, type mail.YourDomain.com.
(e.g., mail.betterbuilt.com)
9. In the Outgoing server field, type mail.YourDomain.com.
(e.g., mail.betterbuilt.com)
10. Click the Next button.
11. In the User Name field, type your full email address. (e.g., johndoe@betterbuilt.com).
12. Click the Next button.
13. In the Account Name field, type your full email address (e.g., johndoe@betterbuilt.com).
14. Click the Next button.
15. Click the Finish button.
16. From the Edit menu, choose Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings.
17. Select Outgoing Server (SMTP) in the Accounts list.
18. Check the box next to User name and password.
19. In the User Name field, type your full email address. (e.g., johndoe@betterbuilt.com).
20. Click the OK button.
Note: When you first send an email, a window asking for your password will appear. Type your email password and click OK to continue.

Still using Outlook Express and having problems with SPAM? Programs such as iHateSpam are designed to remove spam from outlook express. Although we suggest you use the full version of Outlook and not the Express version, programs like this one will help reduce the number of spam emails.

ATTENTION AOL, SBC and other customers having problems sending email through your private domain email account.

*** Note: if your ISP blocks port 25

Go to:
Outlook
Tools
Email accounts
View or change existing email accounts
Select appropriate email account and choose change Choose more settings Choose the advanced tab Change the outgoing SMTP server port from 25 to 2500

Choose ok and apply settings... you're all set.
