BetterBuilt.Com LLC. ("BBC") BBC-branded hardware products come with a one-year-limited-warranty. The limited warranty covering your system will be noted on your invoice and included in the documentation accompanying your system. If for any reason the system warranty is not noted on your invoice the default warranty is a 30-day limited warranty. NOTE: This information applies to the United States only, unless specifically stated otherwise. Non-BBC-branded hardware is covered by the In-Store Sales Policy and warranted directly by the manufacturer. Each non-BBC-branded manufacturer will have its own warranty policies and procedures. Prior to any purchase please consult with that manufacturer to avoid any BBC restocking fees and policy conflicts. For example, if you purchase a DELL computer system from BBC you will receive warranty service directly from DELL however you will also have a fee based support option from BBC. Any or all charges will be outlined during drop off of your computer system at BBC for service. If you have any specific questions please ask prior to the commencement of any service work performed by BBC.

General BetterBuilt.com Service Policy guidelines:

  • All invoices are due on receipt unless otherwise noted.
  • Overdue invoices will be subject to a 1.5% monthly Finance Charge.
  • Returned checks will be charged a $35.00 non-sufficient funds fee.
  • BetterBuilt.com reserves the right to refuse any specific payment.
  • BetterBuilt.com accepts VISA, Mastercard, Discover, check and cash with a valid form of ID.
  • *4hr. max rate applies to selected depot service rates and is assessed per problem. Therefore two unrelated problems would qualify for two 4hr maximum charges.
  • Our policy is that we bill for the amount of time that it takes multiplied by the skill level required or service rate chosen. You must agree to our terms and conditions prior to any service.
  • Items presented for bench service are subject to a diagnostic fee to be paid in advance.
  • All service is billed in 15-minute increments.
  • Items sent out for service will be charged for packing, shipping and insurance. Special order parts and materials required for repair must be prepaid in full before ordering.
  • No refunds will be given on service. Items left more than 30 days after first notification of service completion will become property of BetterBuilt.com and can be used or sold to recover the repair cost. Warranty on service is 30 days from the first notification of completion, and applies to labor only. Hardware is subject to the manufacturer’s warranty. Software and its installation are not warranted once the item has been returned to the customer.
  • It is the responsibility of the Customer to supply the original invoice from the sale or service of the equipment for warranty purposes.
  • Turn around time for bench service is dependent on the work scheduled at that time. This will vary due to contract, call load, parts requirements and your service rate
  • BetterBuilt.com may retain items brought in for service if your account is not up to date and until your delinquent balance is paid in full.
  • Data is the sole responsibility of the Customer. We will attempt to recover as much data possible however under certain circumstances there is a possibility that data will be irrecoverable.
  • BetterBuilt.com managers make the sole decision to establish or revoke credit terms based on existing business and payment history.
  • All In-Store and residential sales are to be paid in full at the time of pickup or delivery. Commercial customers must have pre-approved BetterBuilt.com credit prior to service in order to receive billed account status
  • Special orders require payment in full at the time of the order, and cannot be returned or refunded without the approval of an owner or manager. Special order returns will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.
  • No cash refunds. Merchandise can be exchanged or a credit will be issued per sales agreement (see sales receipt)
  • All items must be returned in their complete original containers with an original invoice. Items not in their original container or in a damaged package will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.
  • Delivery, setup and training are available at an additional charge.
  • There are no other warranties, either expressed or implied unless specifically stated.
  • If two policies interact or cover the same service, hardware, software or other BetterBuilt.com product the more restrictive version will have precedence in all cases.
  • Service rates and policies subject to change without notice.
  • If any policy should be nullified in court or by law the remaining policies will remain intact.
